Midsummer greetings
In Sweden we celebrate midsummer, to honor the longest and brightest days of the year, it never get really dark these days.
But this year it is the coldest midsummer for over 100 years, so happily I already have taken this image of what we call “midsummer flower”, a cranesbill.
An old saying is to put seven different flowers under your pillow the midsummer night, to dream of who you’re going to marry. Cranesbills use to be one of those flowers.
Do you dare?
Well, I wish you all a very happy midsummer, wether you keep your fresh flowers in a vase or under your pillow!
Enjoy! 🙂
