Beautiful photographs, great work! The snow looks like sand, it reminds me of the Sahara 🙂
Thanks a lot for your kind words!
I’m glad you see them like that, it was my intention to in a way, loose the perspective.
nice work!
Thank you very much!
stunning collection !
interesting to understand the meaning of “dil B 1+32” or just a little bit more info about the process plz !
I’m sorry, it’s the description on the developer bottle…. There is five different dilutions, each with their own developing time, and I guess, different results on the negative.
This, “dilution B”, was the one recommended for Kodak T-max 100.
Thanks a lot for your kind comment! 😊
I see. I still in the middle of learnings of this magic chemical process so i just soak all the relevant information about especially with fantastic results like your here.
Ohh, you are most kind, thank you Victor! 😊
You’re very welcome Marie !
Amazing and beautiful film work!
Tack August! Kul att du gillar dem!
Beautiful photos Marie. the shapes and contrasts are wonderful.
Thank you very much Mike, I’m so glad you like them!
I do, making those exposures with such contrast is a skill I have yet do perfect with film. Marvelous work.
Thank you again Mike! It’s not very easy, because if it’s a overcast or cloudy day, the shapes are almost not visible, and if it’s very much contrast in the light, the negative will get very harsh and a struggle to scan…. You have to have the “right” amount of sunshine, coming from the right angle etc etc…. But sometimes, the light is with you all the way! 😉
I do like when the light is on my side. Hope your day is great.
Thanks Mike, I hope your day was great too!
It was.
Great work! I love the contrast. Plus you make the snow come alive in your photos.
Thank you very much Victor! I’m really happy for your kind words! 🙂
Amazing!
Thank you!
stunning work, Marie. I know how difficult is to get good stuf from the snow landscapes!!!
Thank you very much Jesús!
Yes, snow isn’t predictable in any way… With these, scanning was my biggest struggle though…
Marvelous! Did you use a red filter?
Thanks a lot!
No filters, just T-Max 100 developed in Kodak HC-110 1+32, and for one of them, Ilford PanF+ developed in Ilfotec DD-X
Wow! I’m impressed that you got such dark skies. I have to use a red filter to get that effect. Congratulations!
Thank you, it was a good day…. 😉
Reminds me quite strongly of White Sands National Park, in New Mexico USA. They have white gypsum sand dunes, and the contrast against the often deep blue sky can be incredible. Excellent work.
Thank you very much for your kind words, most appreciated!
Impressive!
The fascination of snowscapes in B/W.
The square format seems really suitable for this introspective pieces of landscape.
Regards.
Thank you so much! I’m glad you like them!
