Weekly Photo Challenge – MINE
This little golden sunshine is called Alice, she is 3 1/2 years old, a Shetland Sheepdog, she is gorgeous, and she is MINE! 🙂
Yes I know, this isn’t my best image ever taken, and, I have three dogs….. So why just Alice?
Well, Filip, my bordercollie was recently featured in a post here, and my little one, Ella, who is also a sheltie girl, are suffering from problems with standing still so I can photograph her….. 😉
She demands a post of her own…..
Enjoy 🙂
She is adorable.
Thank you very much! 🙂
Very sweet portrait of a beautiful little girl. Dogs are such great buddies!
Thank you very much! Yes they are, couldn’t live without them…. Great personalities too, but hard to photograph, I’m far to slow….. 😉
Wow, we have one of those! She is called Honey and looks almost exactly the same! 🙂 Great photo too, photographing dogs is hard at the best of times, never mind with a Hasselblad!
Ohh, Honey… Shelties should all be called Honey I think, they are so wonderfully sweet dogs 🙂
If you are located in Britain it is very possible they are “related”. My Alice’s father live in Scotland, he s a beautiful sheltie, well used in breeding, both here in Scandinavia and in Britain. “Japaro by Design” is his name, do you recognize him? Would be fun to know!
Thank you for visit and comment, most appreciated!
No, when speed is necessary a Hassie doesn’t help much….
And Shelties are fast…. Standing still about half a second at time…. They are gone when I reach for my camera… 😀
We got Honey from the south of England, my mother has the pedigree details so i can check to see if they are related!
Honey can be fast, but most of the time she sleeps on the sofa.
My sister has a border collie too! a black and white one called Willow 🙂
I don’t have any recent photos of them, only puppy ones, but when i do i’ll post them for you
Yes, please do that, it would be nice to see 🙂
Btw, I think Alice would sleep on the sofa too, if she didn’t have the little “weasel” Ella to raise…. 😉
I am not a fan of dogs at all, but…HOLY $#!* medium format film is gorgeous. Astia is lovely. How timely, since just last night I wrote a long piece about the Hasselblad…feel free to check it out if you want!

Thank you very much! 🙂
I just read your very very thorough review, great work! I just had to argue a bit with you, hope you don’t mind my opinion on this gorgeous camera. 😉
What a beautiful furbaby. I have a really hard time photographing animals. Our kitties are not very patient nor will they pose for any type of picture taking. Certainly not any type of “film” photography. You did a great job and she truly is beautiful.
Thank you very much! 🙂
Well, I think I have to admit there was a treat involved in this interest of posing for the camera….. I’m pretty useless of photographing my fast dogs otherwise….. 😉
Thanks again for your kind words!
Ah so now I know the secret:-) Thanks for sharing. I’m going to have to try that but seeing as our kitties are all really shy it will still be a real challenge. The weather is putting a severe damper on our outdoors photo excursions right now. Thunderstorms. Real bummer. Enjoy your day.
Joey
She is indeed gorgeous!!! Beautiful girl! 🙂
Yes, she is a cutie…
Thank you very much 🙂
She is so cute and adorable ! I adore shelties, I have one too, a male, they are so intelligent and playful !
Thank you! Yes they are very adorable and friendly, I love shelties too, a wonderful breed.
Stunning photo and Alice is standing here very proudly. Once again a really lovely image
Thank you very much James!
She is quite convinced that she is the highest in rank in my little pack, and when I also devotes her attention she can look really proud ….. 😉
She is adorable! I hope you have a lovely day and I look forward to reading your forthcoming blogs…
