White wide views in redscale sunset
Getting a bit bored whit this never ending winter we’ve been “blessed” with this year, I took my (at the moment) favourite pinhole camera, loaded it with Lomography Redscale film, and went……
Well, where do dou think I was when I took these two images?
The Swedish mountains, or the Alps? Or where?
No, it’s actually in a gravel pit, however, winter dressed in snow and ice.
A little different, right?
Enjoy! 🙂
Photo 1: I thought ‘dunes’ at the sea
Photo 2. a lake?
But I’m wrong!… nice pictures, with the colours it looks warmer, It looks like the sun is going under.
Thank you very much! 🙂
It was just minutes before sunset…
Incredible!!! I would love to do these kind of things!
Here the weather is also a desaster! 🙂
Hey, would love to do? Just go on and do it! 🙂
When the weather is so boring, I just have to do something different…… 😉
Amazing. Interesting images. I’d have never guessed a gravel pit. 🙂
Thank you very much!
It is fun to do something different sometimes, and this day I just found it here….. (Thanks to all the snow….) 😉
Words cannot describe the beauty of these photographs!
Thank you for your most kind words! 🙂
Marie! No, I’m not going to comment on your new toy and the filmic effects … Where’s that magnificent Hasselblad and its shimmering grains of pristine winter magic? 🙂
Yes yes yes, it is still here… 😉
I just had to do something different, I was so bored with all the snow images looking alike, and the spring is still not to be seen…. More snow this weekend…. gah….
Very lovely.
Thank you very much! 🙂
That first one is spectacular, Marie. It looks like the Sahara, but I don’t think the Sahara is in Sweden! 🙂
I dont know…. if Sahara is never ending, looks the same all the time, and is just too much…. well, it could just be Sweden…. 😉
Thank you very much for your kind comment!
Lovely images. The redscale makes a cold scene look warm. As for the location – well, snow makes everything look better (at least in England it does!)
Thanks a lot John!
Well, the redscale helps a lot in some circumstances, and it is fun to do something a bit different sometimes. 🙂
Wow your Holga + redscale work is magificent! You make Sweden look very, very warm 🙂
Thanks a lot Jana! 🙂
I can assure you that is just an optical illusion, is is still freeeeezing, and this weekend to come, it is coming more snow again…. Brrr…..
Snow certainly can make the ugliest thing look beautiful, but like someone above I prefer the Hassie.
Hehe, thanks a lot! And don’t worry, it is still around, and my absolute favourite all times!! 🙂
this is a magnificent work!
I love the first one a lot!!!!
Thanks a lot Jesús!
I’m very pleased with the colours in that image, it is my favourite too. 🙂
