E6, DIY, finally…

For more than six months ago I bought my first developing kit with E6 chemicals. For six months now, I have been thinking; do I dare? So much can go wrong…

Then at last, I thought that, what the heck, do it anyway! And I did, and I must say that there was nothing to be scared about.

A bit tricky to keep the water bath at 38*C, but otherwise it was as easy as developing C41.

And here are some of my first results, from this summer, and I think the colours are great. The film is Kodak Ektachrome 100VS.

If you hesitate to try yourself, well, don’t! Go for it!

Enjoy!  🙂

  1. Stunning images indeed! Well done, so glad you gathered up the courage and went for it (I would LOVE to try this one day, too)- results are so crisp and clear, with such dazzling, scrumptious colour indeed. Beautiful images! Many cheers to you,
