Infrared by the sea x3

One day earlier this summer I went to a beautiful place by the sea, not far from where I live. I’ve loaded my three cameras for the day with Efke IR 820 and Ilford SFX, and this is what I came up, with the different cameras.

This is from my Zero Image 2000, viewing my Hasselblad 503cx.

And the image taken with my Hasselblad 503 cx

And finally the same view, taken with zone plate setting on my Zero Image 612F, loaded with Ilford SFX and Wratten 89B.

      • How do you make your pinholes?
I use a #80 (.343mm) drill bit to make my pinhole and a aperture to film plane distance of 50mm for a f148 on 120 film. I’d like to get an f250 with everything else remaining the same. A pinhole of 0.18mm would give me a f278.
I took a look at some of your work and i was impressed.
        Thanks
        Stan

        • Oh, I’m so sorry, I’m the lazy type….. 😉
          I buy them here…. http://www.zeroimage.com
But I think you can find those tiny tiny drills, I’ve heard a podcast that mentioned exactly how to do that, and it was not so long ago, but I can’t remember which one it was…. Maybe “PD Exposures” or “Pinhole Podcast”…..
I let you know if I remember.

    • Thank you so much James, and it’s me who have to apologise for not being very social on WP, I hope it will be better soon…..
Have a great weekend to come!
