Örskär Lighthouse

Just north of the island where we live, is a beautiful little island called Örskär located. The island has only a couple of summer houses, noone lives there the whole year around. There is also a hostel, a very nice season restaurant and of course, the lighthouse. One evening we took the tour boat to Örskär, ate a excellent Lighthouse Keeper dinner on the restaurant, and ended the evening looking when the sun set directly in the sea.

We are so lucky living like this, and we are definitely going back to Örskär soon.

Enjoy 🙂

  1. Beautiful! I especially love the last one. I visited a similar tiny island in Iceland, although there are more houses they are mostly summer homes and only about a half dozen people live there year round. It was so lovely and quiet
