Blurry, but kind of a dream about poetry…..
I just LOVE this little weed, the little star of which I do not know the name, but she is truly fascinating me in all her shimmering beauty.
And though I’m not able to write poetry, you will have to do with this little star…..
Blur depends on the difficulty of measuring the distance because it is impossible to look through the viewfinder. I have attached a little string with a knot in order to measure the distance correctly, but nevertheless sometimes parallax error occurs, and the depth of field may be about 1-2 mm, and if it is windy, it can be like this sometimes.
So at first glance at my newly developed film, I felt just that, oh rubbish! But the more I looked, and when I scanned the film, I felt that for me this is like pure poetry.
Hope you like it too!
Enjoy!
I’ll soon be back with more Holga Poetry! I love this little plastic wonder!
Especially with the macro lences mounted on, it is a really unpredictable journey, I’ll never know what comes out of it, and I love that!
Holga + macro sounds like a dream come true –these are very cool!
I love how you work (or rather, play!) with what IS, and learn how to DEAL WITH IT…beautifully!
brilliant
These really are excellent. Love what you’re doing with the Holga!
Thank you very much for those kind words! Glad you like them!
DEVELOPPING BY YOURSELF?
Yes, I have developed my own bw for many many years, and recently started with C41, and I’m quite satisfied with the results, it’s not that hard at all. I choose to develop in 30 degr C, instead of the usual 38, then it is a slower process, and much easier to keep the temperature up.
Do you get color shifts at 30? Or everything is fine.
Everything is fine, what I can see, looks just great, I’m very satisfied with the results, and it is much easier to do at this temperature, the whole process is slower and not that fussy. I use Tetenal, I don’t know if it differs between brands?
I think Tetenal is only available brand for color dev. in Europe Fuji/Hunt is available at few stores but has less capacity for same price. I use 38oC but of course short dev. times make it more prone to mistakes.
Stunning images really blown away
I love the 2nd one… It’s so simple and pure your photos, that why I love of film, in digtal will look fake for me : )
