Longing for spring now!

I wish I could tell you these two images were taken just the other day, but they are from last year. It is still very very grey up here in Sweden, and though it is quite warm ( for still being winter ) the spring isn’t here yet. But let it come into our minds with these great colours! The film I used is Kodak Ektachrome 100 VS, so the colours are really saturated, and at least they are warming my heart. I hope they are warming yours too!

I wish you all a wonderful weekend!

Enjoy!  🙂

  1. Hang in tight! It is only a matter of weeks now 🙂

Did I ever told you that I usually am not a big fan of flower photos – but really like yours?

I guess, you using film makes them look very distinctive, but you also have a great way to present them.(not the usual borin point of view I happen to have in my flower shots)

    • Well, tomorrow it is actually the first day of offical spring, but I think it gonna take a while for it to show irl…. 😉
Thank you very much Phillip, I am very honored!

  2. These are gorgeous!

As for spring: Here in Minnesota, it is very cold, with lows below zero Fahrenheit forecast into the middle of next week. We have quite a bit of snow on the ground, and more is forecast. Perhaps we’ll have spring . . .

    • Wow, we have had a very very mild winter this year, but it is very grey though. Last year we had that cold and snowy winter you seem to have right now. I hope the sun is with you!
      Thank you very much! 🙂

    • Thank you very much!
Yes, sometimes it can feel good to look at what you long for, instead of what you actually have… Here it is extremely grey, no colours, no light, and even no fog! If we at least have fog I could take my camera out with pleasure, but it is unfortunately the archives that have the best images right now… 😉
