Well, almost first, I’ve done lith printing before, but this is my very first Gum Bichromate print. I’m not yet convinced if I like it or not, but it’s for sure that the scan doesn’t do my print justice…..
Maybe the aquarelle paper I used was too rough? If you can see anything or give me some advice, I will be most grateful!
Here it goes…..
And here is the “original” scan from the negative
One day earlier this summer I went to a beautiful place by the sea, not far from where I live. I’ve loaded my three cameras for the day with Efke IR 820 and Ilford SFX, and this is what I came up, with the different cameras.
This is from my Zero Image 2000, viewing my Hasselblad 503cx.
And the image taken with my Hasselblad 503 cx
And finally the same view, taken with zone plate setting on my Zero Image 612F, loaded with Ilford SFX and Wratten 89B.
In my fridge, I found two forgotten rolls of black and white film, one Kodak Tri-X and one Ilford HP5+. I developed them and found they were from this summer. I love to put one or two extension tubes on my Hasselblad and wander around in my garden to see if I will find an image somewhere. I guess I didn’t think so at the time, but I have to say, I’m quite pleased with them.
It’s so good to find something to help remember the summer
Enjoy 🙂
