A new chapter in life

Sometimes life can be relentlessly tough during periods, and when it is so for me, it is my creativity that backs away and waits for better times.

The last four years of my life have been like this, which is why I haven’t posted any posts on my blogs, nor posted any photos on Flickr for 2 1/2 years now.  But since half a year or so, I have begun to regain my life, and slowly, too, my creativity begins to return.  From time to time I have photographed some, developed very little film, but have not scanned or processed images in any way, and this has now resulted in a roughly 1 1/2 cm thick pile of films in negative pockets that I will slowly start scanning … 😉

I start with this post, and a picture that is definitely not one of my best through time, but which feels descriptive of the situation I have had, and is working my way out of.  Sprawling, but with the help of the sun, green leaves will soon begin to germinate.  And now, when the light starts to return so slowly, the warmth also returns with help of the sun.

All my faithful photo friends, analog geeks and followers of my blogs and Flickr, see that I have not yet, and will never stop photographing straight into the sun.

Thank you for your patience, love you all! ❤ ❤ ❤

Örskär Lighthouse

Just north of the island where we live, is a beautiful little island called Örskär located. The island has only a couple of summer houses, noone lives there the whole year around. There is also a hostel, a very nice season restaurant and of course, the lighthouse. One evening we took the tour boat to Örskär, ate a excellent Lighthouse Keeper dinner on the restaurant, and ended the evening looking when the sun set directly in the sea.

We are so lucky living like this, and we are definitely going back to Örskär soon.

Enjoy 🙂
