Tree Tuesday – Before the snow

This image is taken just a couple of days before the snow arrived last week. I was going to visit a friend of mine, and suddenly I saw this beautiful mist and the group of trees and I just had to stop my car and get this image…..

I’m glad I did….

Hope you enjoy it too!

Happy TREE TUESDAY!!!   🙂

    • Thank you very much Stephen!
It actually was kind of magic, It was a cloudy day, but at a 90 degree angle from my composition there was blue sky above the mist, and that kind of added a strange color to the sky. And just 1 km all the mist was gone….. I got one more photograph of a railroad track just in the direction towards the blue sky, gonna publish that later… 😉

      • Maybe you can get some cool “snow” shots. Sounds like it’s going to be a cold winter this year throughout Europe. We’re still at 22 degrees and running the air conditioner. Hard to imagine….right? 😉

    • Thanks a lot Jesus!
Actually I don’t remember if it was cold, I don’t think so, but it had been rainging for years (…..) and I guess it was all the damp in the ground that made this gorgeous mist, when the sun finally made the great decision to show up for a couple of hours… 😉

  1. Hi 🙂 Your photo is truly beautiful. There is something so special when a mist descends giving a dreamy quality to the surroundings! I really like this photo. I caught the mist this morning and was so excited to capture a Tree in this light. It’s my first ‘Tree Tuesday’ entry and I would love you to have a look if that’s Ok?

Tuesday’s are now eagerly anticipated! Thanks again so much for mentioning the challenge in the Daily Post. Like you said – “More the merrier” 😉

    • Thank you very much Immie, happy you’ll join us! I looked at your post, and you have a really nice tree there! I’m a sucker for mist and rime too, and it is not so very often I have a chance to photograph in the mist, so I am really happy for this one. Thanks again for your kind words. 🙂
