Isle of Harris, Outer Hebrides, Scotland part 3

These three images are taken with my Hasselblad. It really took me some time before I was beginning to like them. But these three has grown for me, and now I feel I can publish them.

I hope you like them too.

Soon I will start to scan my colour images for this trip, so stay tuned…

Enjoy 🙂

  1. I especially like the first and third image. The capture of the water and the graininess of it is intriguing. I love the mood, and these are two of my favorite images that I’ve seen on WordPress for some time. Thanks for sharing them!

  2. These islands are so beautiful and rough at the same time. I really liked it when I was there several years ago, what a pitty that it was before I started with serious photography. The good thing is, that I have to go there again ;).

  5. I need to go there, one day. The western side of Scotland and the Outer Hebrides is still a bit of the map I need to explore. Prefereably with some kind of medium format camera in hand.
Beautiful pictures, Marie, and especially that third and last one. I really love the time warp inside it.

And hey, great guest blog on the Ilford page! I just read it a few days ago, and it was a great find. Thanks for sharing your work.

I live over in Norway, and yes, I know you can perfectly understand my language, but it seems there’s a lot of foreign readers in here…
All the best, and keep up the great work! Really looking forward to go through your blog 🙂

    • Tusen tack! 😊
I really appreciate your kind words about my work, and thousands of thanks for all the likes, and yes, this has become a kind of international blog, the film photography world is very international in a lovely kind of way, it’s very social.
      Thanks a lot once again!

ps The Outer Hebrides is really a place to recommend if you seek the powers of nature! Most interesting and beautiful in the same time.

      • I’m an engineer on board a ship that very frequently used to stay in Orkney, so I know a few things about the weather in this area 🙂 Anyway, the Outer Hebrides is very much on top of my list of places to visit. If you also go to see my film blog, http://www.filmphotographymadesimple.blogspot.no you will probably find something from Orkney, Scotland and Shetland, as I’ve been there a lot. Anyway, flickr will be full of snaps from that part as well, so I bet you have seen lots of it before!! 😀 Thank you very much for the reply, Marie, and you got a very nice blog for sure!

Please, share your thoughts
