I have ENINYTRIHT undeveloped film rolls in my fridge…. :-O
And I am so ashamed of it that I have to write the number backwards…
But there is also a good side of the phenomenon, WHEN I finally develop my film rolls I have forgotten most of the images, and can sometimes be very pleasantly surprised.
As these images I found on a roll that I developed last winter, that was partly from my trip to Isle of Arran in August 2014. They were on a roll that was left in the camera at the return trip, and this roll of film I finished when I got home, tucked into the fridge and forgot about it ….
But then I of course also learned that theX-rays does not harm a Fuji Velvia 50 though the roll is left inside the camera…
But now it is probably time that I exert myself a bit, or what do you think, my loyal readers?
Enjoy 🙂
Love the blue of the Velvia and the mood in these images.
Thanks a lot Mike! Yes, Velvia is amazing with the blue colours and long exposures, it just can´t go wrong.
Your welcome, and I have a few roll sI need to run through the zero-image but I am waiting for the colors of summer.
…So beautiful, Marie…lovely collection…and the colors so intense!! (…smiling so much…)
Thank you very much Kari, I´m so glad you like them!
Have a lovely weekend my friend.
I love the cool atmosphere captured in these shots. Sublime.
Thank you very much Angelina!
Beautiful! Free them from the icy dungeon and show us more
😁 I promise to to my best….
Thanks a lot!
Awesome place and images!
Thanks a lot Alexander!
Marie, it’s a pleasure to watch your artwork!
I just came across your blog today. Great work. Were the Velvia pictures above made with the Distagon 50 mm f4?
Thank you very much!
I’m not sure, but I think so. I had the 50/4 with me, so it’s either the 50/4 or 80/2,8…..
I’m useless at notes….😅
Oooooh, wowowow!
They look stunning and almost like they were taken during a full moon 💛
Thank you very much, I’m glad you like them! 😊
You have some wonderful images here Marie
Thank you very much Alex 😊
I really miss my blog, and want to have my senses back to creativity mood again….
Marie, it’s a time that I’ve read something on shimmering .But there you are .Always with fascinating photography .
Meanwhile I don’t spent my own time in emptyness. In b and w I tried several “new” emulsions like the Santa 1000 form Cameratori in Finnland , I used my last rolls of EFKE 25 (boehoehoe) and now ready for a try with Orwo …
The russian Silberra and Tasma are sometimes very good .I’ve also bought in color the silbersalz 35 …super to work with !!! Greetings from Belgium !!
Thanks a lot Etienne😊
I’ve been quite down for a long period now, but the light is coming back slowly. My creativity is a bit more slow, but hopefully I’m back soon. I’ve photographed during the whole down period but not developed or published online…. it’s been more than 2 years now….
Do you know what I have in my freezer? About 40 rolls of EFKE IR 🤗🌟🌟🌟🤗🙏
Jealous yeah? 🤪 They expired in 2013, but I don’t think that’s a problem.
Many many thanks for your comment, it really help me with my motivation.
All the best
Marie
jealous? oh no I’m not a jealous guy. The only thing for me to be jealous is that you’re living in such beautifull area .
Hopely you’re coming strong back. I suppose you know we’re all struggling our own life… Sometimes it goes …for a time and then it’s went down and we sit there too much thinking and crying for not finding answers on questions of what ever sort of …Maybe I could deal with you some of my foolish photoexperiments like the sprocketphotographie … Lucky we have our eyes to see what’s still value around us . So you know that you’re not the only one who stumbled and fall …Maybe I can help by reaching you a hand …
greetings ….xxxx for a wonderfull photographer with soulpower!
Thank you very much Etienne, I appreciate your comment and insights enormously, and isn’t it strange that even though we know that we are not alone, in that deepest moments and times, we forgot all that valuable insights….
Yes, sprockets and other lomostuff helped me once to get the curiosity and playfulness in my photography back, so you are totally right, I may take that up again.
And I actually have some old lenses I bought on Ebay to use on my Olympus to get bokeh in a higher grade…. hmm… You just made me thinking about this again, and that is a good thing 🌟🤗🙏
Thank you again Etienne, you just made my day 🌞
have a little technical question … How do I scan my 35 mm roll shooted with adapter on mediumformatcamera .If I use the holder for 35 mm then the sprockets are covered .In 120 holder they don’t stay at the right place WITHOUT CUTTING THEM ; So do I need to cut the film ?
XXXX
greetings
Oh, I have no idea…. Do you mean that the film strip is too long for the 120 holder? ehh…
I’m blushing…. I bought a couple of 120 holders 3D printed a couple of years ago, but I have never used them…. no, sorry, I have no idea….
but maybe put the film strip on a couple of coins, and then some coins on top to hold it in place?? But that is if you have a flat bed scanner…. ??? 😳🥺🤯

all the best
I’ve had only one roll of Efke IR waiting for more light to use it ….
