Forgotten all about it…..

Just when the autumn went from beautiful and enjoyable, into dark, gloomy and cold, I found a little camera in my closet that I almost had forgot I had. I have taken a couple of rolls with it but was not at all satisfied with the results. Well, in this little La Sardina, i found an almost finished roll of Lomography RedscaleXR 50-200. So, I went out and photographed the images that was left, just a couple.

I developed the film in C41, expecting nothing… So I was pleasantly surprised when the film was dry. Almost every image was photographed in this crazy Lomo style, with double- or multi exposures. Because I currently am very interested in impressionistic images, I was very pleased with the results. And this kind of motifs suited this little camera very well too.

So, what was my lesson from this? You can not have too many cameras!!  😀

Enjoy!

Around an abandoned castle

I do not really know what it was that made me choose black and white film when all the autumn colors glowed at its best.

But I’m glad I did.

Color may be a little intense at times.

And somehow I believe you can still imagine that the colors are there.

Enjoy!  🙂

I just launched a new site, a pinhole site!

Welcome to have a look at my new site, a site/blog about pinhole and zone plate photography!

As you probably have noticed, I’m very much into pinhole photography right now, and it just felt right to do that, a site for only pinhole photography.

So if you like, you are more than welcome to have a look at LENSLESSNESS!

I will still from time to time show pinhole images here on Shimmering Grains, but not as much as I have done recently.

I hope you will enjoy my new site, and follow it as well! 🙂

Have a lovely Sunday evening!
